01 WHO I AM

Hi, I’m Rosie—Filipino-born, LA-based, and deeply obsessed with design, storytelling, and the strange magic that happens when you mix the two with strategy.

I’ve been creating for as long as I can remember. I sold stickers for five pesos when I was six (some real Shark Tank energy), then spent my school years designing posters, running social media for student events, and cutting together YouTube lyric videos for fun. I eventually found myself livestreaming games on Twitch, editing my own content, and building online communities without realizing that’s what I was doing.

I never saw myself in just one lane—branding, content, marketing, editing—it all felt like different ways of telling a story. My story. Other people’s stories. Business stories.

Over time, I learned how to turn all of that into a profession. And here we are.

02 HOW I GOT HERE

I didn’t go to art school. But I did grow up in Catholic schools that taught us Adobe. And I had a high school teacher in Manila who genuinely changed the course of my life. She helped me see that design + business = marketing, and that I didn’t have to choose between creativity and strategy—I could do both. Later, our class was taught by an actual marketing professor from De La Salle University. He made branding and marketing feel alive: organizing events, creating campaigns, promoting things we cared about. It clicked for me. This is what I wanted to do.

So I kept learning. I studied behavioral science, cultural patterns, and how visuals shape meaning. I watched hundreds of hours of YouTube tutorials, dissected ads I loved (and hated), and built my skills through pure hands-on experience.

And when I finally started doing the work professionally—whether it was digital design, social content, or full-blown brand strategy—I found the same joy I had when I was 13 making edits at 2am: creative clarity.

03 MY CV (In Plain English)

I’ve worn a lot of hats—designer, content creator, strategist, marketer—and I’ve learned something valuable from every role.

I started building real-world experience as a marketing assistant in a physical therapy clinic, where I got to create social media content, plan community events, and learn how to communicate clearly with both patients and healthcare professionals. From there, I took on in-house and freelance roles that sharpened my skills in branding, digital campaigns, and content strategy.

My background includes working with small businesses—like skincare brands, local studios, and startups—as well as contributing to bigger marketing efforts in larger organizations. I’ve handled everything from social media management and email marketing to complete brand identity design and client communication.

I love being a part of businesses at different stages—from early ideas that need direction to seasoned brands ready to level up. I keep my work diverse on purpose: it helps me stay sharp and gives me fresh insight to bring to every client, whether you're a solo founder or managing a full team.

05 HOW I WORK

I’m someone who cares deeply about both creativity and clarity. I bring structure to creative ideas—and creativity to structured plans.

My style is honest, flexible, and focused. I’ll always tell you when something’s not working, and I’ll suggest a solution that’s backed by strategy (not guesswork). I’m constantly learning, tweaking, and testing to help brands communicate better and grow stronger.

I take a design thinking approach: I start with understanding your goals, audience, and values—then build a brand or campaign from there. I believe in doing work that feels true to you while still pushing for results that move the needle.

I love working with people who are kind, open-minded, and ready to experiment with big ideas.
